2. Oral Sedation
If you need something stronger than laughing gas, oral sedation is the next option. You simply take medication prior to your appointment. This will have you in a relaxed state when it is time for your procedure. Since the effects can last a few hours, you should arrange for someone else to drive you to and from your visit.
3. IV Sedation
This is our strongest sedation option. It also works quickly and can be used for more complex procedures. It’s also a good option for patients with strong dental anxiety.
